The beginning of the second stage of admission is on 4th Ramadhan; For those who got  75% to 80% in General Aptitude Test (GAT), and in Educational Achievement Test (EAT)

The beginning of the second stage of admission and registration at King Khalid University (KKU) for the academic year 1435/1436 for students who have gotten from 75% to 80%  in GAT and EAT will start – God willing - on 4th Ramadan 1435 AH.

The next stage  will be the final stage  set for affiliation and community service diplomas, and for the possible  available seats in bachelor,  which will be for students who have gotten less than 75% in GAT and EAT.

The Dean for Registration and Admission,  Dr. Saad Bin Muhammad Bin Dajim stated that the female admission mechanism this year will be completely electronic, and doesn’t require the attendance of the applicant and nor the need to send the original documents.

He revealed that one of the most disturbing problems that confront female students and guardians during admission is that of finding an appropriate university vacancy and or choosing appropriate specialization . He continued, "many students don’t know the ideal and scientific method of how to choose the appropriate specialization depending on their desires, aptitudes and preferences".

He pointed to the availability of Scientific Majors Guide which provides an adequate information for each scientific major including duration of study, place of study , reward, and required basic skills for each major. The guide is available on KKU admission and registration deanship website, he added.

Dajim also added that KKU is confronting serious problems of lack of accuracy by applicants, as well as their less certainty in choosing specialization. Other problems are family and friends who affect candidates on choosing the appropriate  specialization. Still noticed are problems of request forms being  filled out by someone else other than the  the student herself. This could lead to major mistakes on desires order. Dajim is requesting the Ministry of Education to enlighten  applicants on this matter to avoid many negative consequences.
It is worth  mentioning  that KKU involves more 48 collages spread over the main center in Abha and in other  13 provinces, embracing more than 70 thousand students in different scientific courses starting from short diplomas, community service diplomas, bachelor degrees, and graduates studies (M.A. and Ph.D.).
