14 governmental and private entities to participate in University Summer Festival
14 entities, from various governmental and private sectors are participating in awareness and educational shows, within the programs and events of the 2nd Summer Festival of King Khalid University, which will be launched from 17 to 21, the current month.
It is expected the General Directorate of Civil Defense will participate with a show which displays the latest technology and means of rescue and extinguishers. The Directorate General for Drug Control will participate too with a show to present samples of some drug substances, the tools to deal, in addition to providing visual presentations, and brochures.
In this regard, The Saudi Customs participates with a comprehensive show of the military dogs, to show how this kinds of dogs could deal with suspected cases. It will show seizures, methods of catching, besides a number of photos.
The construction of the Two Holy Mosques will also participate with layouts to the Two Holy Mosques, in which it will show the covering of the Kaaba, in addition to the distribution of gifts of Zamzam water. The Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice will participate with a show that will display seizures of witchcraft and sorcery, alcohol and some violations in dress and others.
For the first time in the region, the National Initiative "God gives you its goodness" will take part in the Festival. The Saudi Society for Fine Arts, Asir Branch and Tamnia Museum for Heritage Works will participate with two shows, which will provide a collection of paintings and heritage pieces that represent the heritage of the Asir region.
Additionally, the Cooperative Office for Call and Guidance, the Geological Survey, the University of King Khaled and the Saudi Telecom Company, Zain, in addition to a number of productive families will participate.
