50 volunteers at the University to aware society of energy drinks harms
The Vice-President for Educational and Academic Affairs at King Khalid University, Dr. Mohammed Al-Hasoun praised the remarkable presence and great enthusiasm which is being provided by the Health Colleges at the University in addition to awareness and education presented to the community. The Health Colleges represent the college in places of big crowds such as malls and stores.
Al-Hassoun confirmed that the community is in need to volunteering activities. He expressed that during his word which he gave in launching a campaign entitled "So as not to Suffer Losing a Dear". The campaign is to raise awareness of Kidney Failure and is organized by the Volunteering Deed Club at the Deanship of Students' Affairs Deanship at the University. He said, "I'd like to thank all of you for participation as well as the Deanship of Students' Affairs for all continuous activities."
In the same context, the Club launched another campaign entitled "Your Energy is in your Health". The campaign is to raise awareness of the harms of energy drinks with participation of 50 volunteering students. 1000 pieces of natural juice were distributed on the facilities of the university. The campaign goes on its programs at many locations outside the University in order to spread benefit over all the community classes.
