110 Jobs in the Faculty of Home Economics Career Day

The Academic Development and Quality Unit at the Faculty of Home Economics in cooperation with the Guidance Unit held the first annual Career Day under the slogan 'My Profession'. The activities included the participation of representatives from both the government and the private sector. They aimed to spread the culture of professionalism among students of the college while educating them on the type of career paths available. Participating entities included:

 

  • The Chamber of Commerce;
  • The Oxford Institute;
  • The National Labor Office;
  • The Taqat center;
  • The Sons and Daughters of Watan Office;
  • Almarai Company;
  • Al Ghunaim company.

 

On her part, Vice Dean for Academic Development and Quality, Sara Al-Amri, explained that the purpose of the event was to encourage students to make use of their talents in the labor market. Head of the Chamber of Commerce Committee, Ms. Haifa Hamouth, stressed the importance of training courses, volunteer work, and internships in the field of business provide an insight into the world of investment and offers expertise that adds to the qualifications and skills of candidates.

 

In the same context, Haliya Ahmadi briefed the attendees on the programs provided by the center to support female job seekers such as the Qura Program and other programs that target a specific type of candidate. It is worth noting that the number of applications submitted reached a total of 110.
