On the 22^nd of Rabī' Al-Ākhir, Vice Rector, Prof. Muhammad Ali Al-Hasoon, on behalf of King Khalid University Rector, Prof. Falleh R.M. Al-Solamy, presided over the King Khalid University Horse Race Cup in the 40^th season of the league. Abdullah Al-Saif the owner and coach of Al-Nafoor, the winning horse, received the award from Vice Rector Al-Hasoon in the university's 8^th turn race at the Janadriya Equestrian Field in Riyadh.

It is worth mentioning that Al-Nafoor capped the campaign in impressive fashion by winning the 1,600-meter open race in a time of 1:36. The award was delivered in the presence of Equestrian Club General Director, Adel Al-Mazroa, and a number of college deans from King Khalid University.
