Under the auspices of the Minister of Education, His Excellency, Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Issa, the team of King Khalid University (KKU), has obtained a gold medal in the 100 meters competition. It was after a fierce competition for the title among more than fifteen Universities. The competition came within Sports Federation Athletics Championships for the Disabled, which was hosted by the King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah.

On the occasion, His Excellency the Minister of Education, who is also the patron of the tournament, Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Issa, honored the champion of the competition - a representative of the King Khalid University - student, Muhannad Musa Al Farah, who obtained the gold medal. Obtaining the first place in this competition by a representative of King Khalid University was a normal result, because of the support for this precious category by His Excellency, the Rector of KKU, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Allah Al Solamy, and the direct follow-up of the Dean of student Affairs, Dr. Mar'e Saad Al-Habash, as well as the constant supervision of the teams of the university by the management of sporting activities.

It is worth mentioning that the champion - Muhannad Al-Farah - had achieved the Silver medal in the competition of 100 meters last year in the same championship.
