The events of the 11th Annual Scientific Research Days take off at King Khalid University (KKU). The activity is organized by the Deanship of Scientific Research in collaboration with university's colleges research centers. On Thursday 26/12/1436 AH, Humanities College participated with 12 scientific researches after being approved by the Scientific Committee. At the occasion, the Dean of the the College of Humanities, Dr. Yahia bin Abdullah Al-Sharif said that scientific research wss an environment that attracts researchers from various branches of knowledge. The Dean said, "Research contributes to the advancement of society in all its categories, and is one of the most important pillars of the universities in the performance of their mission." For his part, the Head of the Research Center at the Faculty of Humanities, Dr. Saeed Al-Moussa explained that scientific research was the real tributary and pulsating artery in the academic process and in the march of universities, and is the origin of their existence. He said, "The University celebration with the 11th scientific research Day is in fact, a celebration with science and its achievements, and a celebration with research and its diverse methods." The program of the celebration included the Dean's word, and four sessions of the three departments of the college: Arabic language and literature, Geography, and Media and communication. There were 12 subjects of research distributed as follows: the first meeting was chaired by Dr. Mufleh Bin Zaben Al Oshba Alqahtani, the college Vice - President for Development and Quality, and the second session was chaired by Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Hassan Mahsna, who is the President of the Arab Language and Literature Department. Both the previous professors belong to the Department of Arabic Language and Literature. 8 participants presented researches in the following topics: The third session was chaired by Dr. Ibrahim Abu Taleb, which is about the Department of Geography. In this session, Dr. Adel Abdul Hamid had a participation under the title" The change of the land shape in the civilized Abha", in addition to Dr. Elawa Ahmed Onsar who participated with " a reading in the phenomenon of climate change." The fourth and last meeting of the Department of Information and Communication which was attended by Dr. Omar Busaada had "Interaction and asynchronous in the new Media" as its topic. In addition, Dr. Saad Saad presented a research under the title "The impact of Technology on the journalistic text"
