Admission and Registration Deanship of King Khalid University (KKU) has announced that the deadline for receiving acceptance for the requests of the academic year 1436 - 1437 AH, will be next Friday 02/09/1436 AH, at 11.00 pm. In connection with that, the Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Sultan Al Farah has urged the graduates of high school who have not registered acceptance requests yet, to register quickly before closing the portal. The Dean further stated that those who have registered before have the right to rearrange their wishes, and the eligible and weighted percentages will be counted to start the "Nomination" stage, which will be in three phases, during the holy month of Ramadan. Dr. Al Farah confirmed that the Deanship of Admission and registration would not receive any requests after the closure of the portal in the pre-announced date. He also expressed how the Deanship was eager to complete the admission processes for this year according to the prepared plan. He also explained that the number of applicants nearly exceeded 25,000 requests up till now. The Dean mentioned that "acceptance of this year is different, as it will be totally electronic, and the deanship will not receive any paper documents". In that way, the Deanship is trying to benefit from modern technology by the direct connection with the National Center's "Qyas" measures, besides the relevant departments of the Ministry of Education. The purpose of that connection is to enable the Deanship to get the marks of the students in the secondary stage as well as the marks of capacity and attainment examinations. The move of the University is aimed at providing comfort, easiness, and convenience for the students to accept their requests transparently and accurately. Dr. Al Farah concluded that "there is no longer a need for applicants to review the deanship, but he / she could benefit from the use of electronic review form which the applicant will find in his / her website if required. In addition, the applicant could follow up the deanship accounts on social networks".
