The King Khalid University (KKU) President Prof. Abdulrahman Hamad Aldawood has described the terrorist crime committed by the hand of treachery in Qudayh as another witness to the horror of deviant thought and the lowliness of its planners. President Al Dawood also described the criminal act as a desperate attempt to spread strife and destabilize the safety of the country, and the cohesion within the society. President Aldawood said, "Targeting innocent lives, intimidating them and shedding their infallible blood are the approaches of those who lost their insight and whose nature swerved, and whose efforts were dashed. That could not take place on the land of the Two Holy Mosques - the Muslims' destination." President Al Dawood further pointed out that sympathy with the perpetrators of such crimes was equal to a participation in the crime and its misdeed. He stressed that it was the duty of everyone to fight such deviant thought and to support eradicating it, in addition to spreading the teachings of the tolerant Islamic religion, which gives protection to the peoples' lives and their properties. The President further insisted on the importance of scientists', educators', opinion leaders' and the media roles, to enlighten the people on what is right, and to warn them of the evils of terrorism and its consequences, pointing out that these could be achieved through wisdom, good advice, dialogue, persuasion, and through every impressive way.

President Al Dawood added that the members of the Saudi society, of all segments, have condemned that heinous crime. The condemnation was a clear response to the stray thought owners, and it was also an explicit message to the whole world that the cohesion of the country, and the standing united behind its wise leadership, in the face of all those who seek to cause harm, would cut off the road of those who dare to spread sedition or corruption and sabotage attempt, in the country which is wide enough to every national.

At the conclusion of his statement, President Al Dawood prayed to God the Almighty, to preserve this country and to sustain its security and welfare under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, and the Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdul Aziz, and the Deputy Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz. In addition, President Al Dawood prayed to God the Almighty to protect this country from the cunning spoilers.
