Rector heads the meeting of the Supreme Student Committee.

His Excellency the Rector of King Khalid University, Prof. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood has headed the second meeting of the Supreme Student Committee for the current year 1436 AH. The meeting was held at the headquarters of the University Council at the University City in Abha, while the female students' meeting was held in the women Hall in the building of the Dentistry school. The meeting was attended by the representatives of Student Affairs Deanship of the university and the colleges' representatives of male and female students.

At the beginning of the meeting, Rector Al-Dawood welcomed the member students, and stressed on the importance of transferring their requests and their faculties' to the committee. In addition, the Rector stressed on presenting openly and transparently all issues that may concern the students of the university so as to achieve the objectives of the Committee - taking the decisions that are in the interest the student. After that, the Rector received all requests and inquiries of students. He commanded resolving them directly during the meeting, and following them up by the Student Affairs Deanship or other concerned authorities.
