45 thousand therapeutic cases in dentistry of the university.
Faculty of Dentistry of King Khalid University has recently issued a statistic that showed the services provided by the Faculty, and the number of beneficiaries from community in Asir region. The statistic showed the more than 45 thousand patients, whose data were digitally stored via the electronic archiving system.
Long time ago, the university focused on supporting the Faculty of Dentistry with all necessary modern equipment to keep up with everything that would increase the level of the services provided by the Faculty to all members of society. The Faculty of Dentistry is the most prominent of the bodies that participate in providing healthy social services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in general, and the Asir region in particular .
In its two sections, the Faculty of Dentistry owns 326 Clinics - 205 clinic for male students, and 121 clinics for female students. Furthermore, the Faculty includes three sections: student clinics, internship clinics and consulting clinics.
It is noteworthy that the Faculty of Dentistry, through internship program, is offering many services, including prevention and treatment of oral diseases, dental services in the remote areas and in schools, in addition to providing field research programs.
