University Council Approves Comprehensive Internal Administrative Structure and Institutional Identity

The University Council Approved the comprehensive internal administrative structure of the university and its institutional identity during the council’s eighth meeting, which was headed by His Excellency Prof. Faleh bin Rajaallah Al-Solami, on behalf of His Excellency, the Minister of Education. In attendance was Secretary-General of the Universities’ Council, Prof. Bassam bin Abdullah Al-Bassam, alongside members of the University’s Council. 

The Vice-President for Graduate Studies and Research, and Secretary of the University Council, Prof. Hamid bin Majdou Al-Qarni, explained that the council discussed the agenda and took the necessary decisions. The comprehensive internal administrative structure was approved, including all its administrations, units, and permanent committees. As well as approving the university’s institutional identity, which is based on three main pillars, (Humanity, Environment, and Economy), which highlights the university’s pursuit of international leadership in the development of people, the environment, and the economy through creating a motivating academic environment, while enriching knowledge, research, innovation, and achieving sustainable development.

Al-Qarni added that the council approved a scientific association called “The Saudi Society for Complementary and Integrative Medicine”, as well as scholarships’ approvals and terminations, PHD and Masters’ approvals, final accounts approvals, scientific communication requests’ approvals, and approvals of faculty members’ services, transfer of services, and resignations approvals. As well as opening registration for the summer semester of the academic year 1445.
