University President Inaugurates Student Theater at King Abdullah Road Academic Complex
His Excellency King Khalid University, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Al-Solami, recently inaugurated the Services Building Theater in the Academic Complex for Female Students on King Abdullah Road, after the theater renovation and by the General Administration of Facilities at the University. The inauguration was in the presence of the University’s Vice President , Prof. Muhammad bin Hamid Al-Buhairi, and the Vice President for Student Affairs, Prof. Kholoud Saad Abu Melha.
His Excellency toured the theater, he praised the new renovation and stressed the university’s keenness to provide a distinguished academic environment for its employees, students and visitors.
In the same context, the General Director of the General Department of Facilities, Mohammed bin Ali Al-Asmari, reviewed the implementation stages of the project. He noted that the the General Administration of Facilities is determined to provide quality facilities and offer an attractive academic environment.
In addition, the Director of Engineering Affairs at the General Administration of Facilities, Engineer Ali Al-Ahmari, explained that the theater has an area of 920 square meters with a capacity of 720 seats, in addition to a hall for senior visitors with an area of 120 meters, accommodating 40 people. He added that the theater was equipped with the latest audio and video systems and technologies.
