University Vice President of Female Student Affairs Attends the Closing Ceremonies For Student Activities and the Honoring of International Students

The Vice President  of King Khalid University for Student Affairs, Prof. Kholoud Abu Melha, attended the closing ceremony for  student activities for the year 1443, in the presence of the Vice President of Student Affairs at Taibah University, Dr. Nada Abu Al-Ela, the supervisors of public and central clubs at the university,  and the deans and vice deans of university colleges in the university theater in the University City in Qurayqir.

 

In her speech during the celebration, Abu Melha confirmed that the university, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, aimed, through its extra-curricular activities, to focus on the development of the female students , in addition to its interest in their academic achievement, noting that one of the most important achievements of the Deanship is the diversity of activities offered to students, including cultural, artistic, sports and scientific trips.

 

Abu Melha directed her thanks and appreciation to the students for their excellent role  and  active participation in university activities and extra curriculum events.

 

On her part, the Assistant General Supervisor of the General Administration of Scholarship Students, Aisha Al-Qarni, explained that organizing this celebration came on the occasion of the number of scholarship students reaching more than 2000 and in honor of the outstanding female students, as well as for receiving the new students and honoring the supporters in the charitable fund to support scholarship students’ programs.

 

During the celebration, Abu Melha praised, in her speech, the care and attention given to international scholarship students in the Kingdom, stressing that Vision 2030 implements international scholarship students as part of its goals. She addressed the role  international scholarship students carry after their return to their countries as ambassadors of peace reinforcing the moderation and tolerance of the Islamic religion.

 

The ceremony included various segments, during which 112 outstanding students were honored.
