University Vice President of Postgraduate Studies Honors the Implementers of the Workshops to Prepare Scholarship Students for Doctoral Degree

King Khalid University’s Vice President of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Hamid bin Majdoua Al-Qarni, recently honored a number of the university’s faculty members, for their efforts in holding a workshop to  to prepare scholarship students for doctoral study abroad for the academic year 1443.

 

The Scholarships Department held workshops for four training days, targeting university lecturers who are in the process of external scholarships. The workshops included the basic axes that the scholarship student needs in the administrative and academic side. It also  focused on how to obtain an external convention , introduce  cultural attachés and its role in relation to the scholarship, as well as introducing the scholarship system "Ambassador", and productivity in the Ph.D.

 

The workshops  included an introduction to research methods, academic research writing skills, choosing the research topic  and developing the theoretical framework, as well as writing the research proposal and research literature, in addition to writing the research problem, questions, hypotheses, stages of research writing and methodology, research ethics, and the academic community.

 

Its is worth mentioning that 14 university professors, in various disciplines, participated in the preparation and implementation of the workshops, while the number of beneficiaries reached about 341.
