Sponsored by the university vice president of Female Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Kholoud Abu Melha, King Khalid University, represented by the Vice Deanship  Female Student Affairs, concluded the university  olympiad competitions for female  university students. The olympiad ’s included (15) categories represented in memorizing the Holy Qur’an,  recitation of the Holy Quran , the Prophet’s Sunnah, and the Prophet’s biography, public speaking, interpert, eloquent poetry, classic  poetry, short story, polemic poetry, as well as Arabic calligraphy,  drawing, photography, general information competetion, and community service.

The closing ceremony included a speech delivered by the  Vice Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Salha Asiri, in which she thanked the President of the University, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Al-Solami for his support and follow up on all student related activities. She also thanked the university vice president of Female Affairs, Prof. Kholoud Abu Melha, and noted that

the seventh cultural olympiad for female students aimed to motivate female students and engage them in literary and artistic competitions. She added the olympiads included the  participation of 232 female students from various university branches in various fields, which reflected the students keenness to be part of such activities and  highlighted their talents in various fields.

At the end of the ceremony, the 16 female arbitrators who participated in judging the competitions were honored as well as the  winning students and the winning colleges. It’s worth noting that the College of Science and Arts in Khamis Mushait won the first place and the Olympic flag, while the College of Science in Abha came in  second place, and the College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion came  in the third place.

Note: this year's olympiads launched a digital platform that allows students to register and participate in any category desired, and allows judges to evaluate  the participation.
