University President Discusses Scientific Cooperation with Chargé d'Affairs of the American Embassy
His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Dr. Faleh bin Rajaallah Al-Solami, received today, Monday, in his office in the University City in Abha, the Chargé d'Affairs at the US Embassy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mrs. Martina Strong, accompanied by the Consul General in Jeddah, Faris Asaad, the Adviser and Head of the Political Department Alan Klaus and the head of ceremonies, Iman Asfour.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency the President of the University welcomed the Chargé d’Affairs and the accompanying delegation, thanking them for their visit. After that the two parties, discussed a variety of topics that included strengthening cultural, scientific and research cooperation between the university and American universities.
On her part, Mrs. Martina Strong commended the university’s facilities, and strategic vision and that was during her conversation with his excellency the University president, where they talked about future development plans. Its worth noting that the meeting was attended by the University's Vice president of Post Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Hamid bin Majdoua Al-Qarni.
