University to Hold Health Volunteer Symposium
Under the patronage of His Excellency King Khalid University Rector, Prof. Falleh Al Solamy, the Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education will hold an online symposium entitled "Health Volunteering" as part of the Mobaderoon initiative in November 2020.
The symposium aims to highlight the importance of volunteer work in general and the health sector in particular, as well as spreading the culture of volunteerism. The symposium also aims to raise awareness of the health mechanisms and practices available to volunteers in the health sector.
The symposium will include the participation of specialists and researchers from the health sector. Participants will discuss the areas of volunteer health work during the COVID-19 pandemic, the role of community institutions in health volunteering, and the characteristics of volunteer health work.
