King Khalid University Rector, Prof. Falleh Al-Solamy, recently met Asir Penal Institution Director, General Saad bin Saeed Al-Murait. His Excellency first welcomed General Al-Murait then discussed opportunities for collaboration in order to serve this region and activate the agreement previously signed between the two parties.

General Al-Murait expressed his gratitude to King Khalid University and Rector Al-Solamy for the eagerness to activate a high level of cooperation. He also hoped that there would be distinguished outcomes from this cooperation in the near future. This agreement, which was signed between the two parties, previously included a number of programs. These programs include: Training courses and diploma programs for prisoners in the fields of computer, self-development skills, administrative skills, and English. They also include a number of medical and health programs for prisoners offered by the College of Medicine, the College of Pharmacy, and the College of Dentistry.
