King Khalid University recently opened six nursery centers at the King Abdullah Road campus. These centers will provide early childhood education and daycare to families within the university system. Vice Rector for Business and Knowledge-Economy, Prof. Abdulatif Al-Hadithi, sponsored the initiative in cooperation with Vice Rector of Female Student Affairs, Prof. Khlood Abu Melha, and the General Supervisor of the Academic Student Campus at King Abdullah Road, Dr. Samia Al-Hakami.

Vice Rector Abu Melha explained that the university is pleased to provide its faculty members with safe, convenient and wholesome environments for early learning. She explained that center operations are under the umbrella of the Ministry of Education and in partnership with the private sector. Dr. Al-Hakami noted that early education is important to the university and a critical objective of Vision 2030.
