Department of Media and Communication freshmen students recently completed a "hands-on" training program that included the participation of the Saudi Press Agency, Abha TV Station, the Radio Station, and Al-Watan Newspaper. The visits, supervised by Teaching Assistant Mr. Mohammad Shami, come as part of the Department of Media and Communication's standing initiative to link the theoretical and practical aspects of the field, as well as introducing media career paths and professions.

Of noteworthy mention, practical training has always been a core component in the education of media students since the establishment of the department.
