Teachers Conference at King Khalid University Draws Large Participation

The conference entitled 'Teacher Development Requirements and Future Ambition Conference' concluded its first day. King Khalid University hosted the conference organized by the Saudi Scientific Association for Teachers.

His Excellency, Jazan University Rector Prof. Merei Al-Qahtani, chaired the first session. The paper presented in this session was as follows:

  • Licenses and Professional Tests for Teachers, Dr. Adel Al-Quaied;

Dean of Community Service and Continuing Education, Prof. Omar Ageel, chaired the second session. The papers presented in this session were as follows:

  • Leadership Contribution in Learning Competency Development for High Schools in the 21st Century, Dr. Ali Al-Ruwaini Al-Khraizi
  • A Suggested Proposal for Teacher's Preparation Development Programs in the Light of Saudi Vision 2030, Dr. Ibtisam Khaled;
  • A Suggested Vision for the Teacher's Roles in Supporting Technology Innovation and Promoting the Digital Economy in the Light of Saudi Vision 2030, Dr. Ghada Shaker Al-Shami and Mr. Deif-Allah Ahmad Al-Ghamdi;
  • Teaching Practices in Light of Saudi Vision 2030 and its Relation to 21st Century Student Skills, Dr. Mohammed Tahir Khawaji and Dr. Seida Mohammed Al-Amri.

Prof. Yahya Al-Rafei, chaired the third session. The papers presented in this session were as follows:

  • Principal's Role in Inculcating Values Among the School in the Light of Saudi Vision 2030, Mr. Abed Obaid Al-Jadaani;
  • Real Contribution of International Exhibition and Conference of Higher Education in Teachers Professional Development for Future Teachers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Dr. Maha Ibrahim Muhammed Al-Kaltham and Dr. Asma Muhammed Abdullah Al-Qatim;
  • Former Shoura Council Member, Dr. Salem Al-Manea, chaired the fourth session. The papers presented in this session were as follows:
  • Current and Future Teachers Professional Development, Prof. Ahmed bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Juhaimi;
