During a meeting with staff of Academic Service Units on Thursday at the main campus central auditoriums, King Khalid University Vice Rector of Academic Affairs, Prof. Saad Du'ajim, stressed the importance of activating the role of Academic Service Units in various faculties of the university with the aim of offering solutions and quality services for students.

During the meeting, a workshop was held with the participation of the representatives of the university supporting deanships in order to clarify tasks and responsibilities assigned to the Academic Service Units. The workshop discussed admission topics and the academic training system, in addition to Academic guidance, re-enrolment, course schedules, as well as transferring, withdrawing, and a number of recently added services. It also discussed student counseling, which was presented by the Guidance & Counselling Unit and addressed the mechanism of semester withdrawals.
