The Medical and Creativity Club and the Female Medical Club in partnership with the Saudi Heart Association recently organized an awareness campaign entitled 'We Care for the Health of Your Heart' at Al Rashid Mall sponsored by Saudi German Hospital. The campaign was held on the 29^th of September, which coincided with World Heart Day (WHD) 2019. The mission of WHD is to ensure heart health equity for all. King Khalid University's campaign aimed to educate the public on cardiovascular diseases, including heart disease, cardiac arrest, prevention methods, and the importance of a healthy diet and physical activities.

The campaign included the participation College of Medicine Vice Dean, Dr. Ayed Al-Shatti, Head of Student Activities, Dr. Waddah Al-Alamai, and Director of Business Development, Saudi German Hospital in Asir, Mr. Abdulrahman Al-Shahrani.

It is worth noting that the campaign included the participation of a number of volunteers, medical students, doctors, and more than 1,200 particpants.
