University Social Studies Center Calls for Participation

King Khalid University - Media Center

The King Khalid University Social Studies Center calls upon researchers and scholars from all Saudi universities to take part in the 'Active Community' projects and initiatives. The center was created in line with the National Transformation Program (NTP) 2020 and the objectives of Vision 2030.

Director of the Center, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Mohseni, pointed out that the projects include a solid foundation for economic prosperity, a proper environment built on Islamic values and teaching to promote balance and moderation in society. It will also focus on promoting physical and psychological health, establishing a social system to form a productive society, Islamic culture and heritage, world-class entertainment options, and the smart design and development of Saudi cities.

Director Al-Mohseni pointed out that the center developed a number of initiatives, training courses and educational workshops, which are slated to be rolled out this year. He thanked Vice Rector of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Saad Al-Amri, for his support encouragement.
