King Khalid University Vice Rector, Dr. Mohammad Al-Hasoon, recently sponsored a ceremony honoring the Guidance Counselor Supervisor Units. The event was organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs in collaboration with Guidance Administration. The university guidance counselors support the students by providing advice and counsel on most any issue or difficulty in their academic or personal lives.

Vice Rector Al-Hasoon expressed his gratitude for the Guidance Administration and the Counselor Unit Supervisors for their dedication and hard work to assure the well-being of the student body. He also acknowledged that the students rely on the guidance counselors to help them manage the stresses of their rigorous studies.

Guidance Center Supervisor, Dr. Khodran Al-Sehami, conducted a self-development workshop as an activity within the ceremonies. Dr. Al-Sehami expressed his appreciation to His Excellency Rector Al-Solamy and Vice Rector Al-Hasoon for their continuing support of the guidance programs. He also added that he hopes to increase the scope and breadth of the student services offered by the guidance units.

At the conclusion of the ceremonies, the Vice Rector honored the guidance unit supervisors for their exemplary service.
