King Khalid University Rector, His Excellency Prof. Falleh R. M. Al-Solamy, sponsored the closing activities of the 5^th Olympic Games held by the Deanship of Student Affairs.

In the closing ceremony, the College of Pharmacy accepted the Olympic Cup for the football championship. The College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion was handed the Olympic Shield and Flag for achieving a total of 720 points in all competitions.

The 5^th Olympic Games included the following categories: Football, futsal, beach volleyball, table tennis, karate, swimming, and judo. Of noteworthy mention, more than 900 students from various faculties participated.

We congratulate all of the students who participated in the games. While their individual efforts and accomplishments are highly commendable, the faculties that support their efforts are most of worth of recognition as well. The respective university scores are as follow:

• The College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion won first place in table tennis, karate, and futsal;
• The College of Science won first place in the judo championship;
• while the College of Pharmacy won the football championship;
• The College of Engineering achieved first place in the volleyball and athletic games.

The following day, the Sports Activities Agency at the Deanship of Student Affairs organized a campaign that supports the culture of walking for a healthy life entitled 'Steps Towards a Healthy Life' in the presence of the University Rector and a number of university vice rectors and employees.
