On behalf of His Excellency the Minister of Education, His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Al-Solami, chaired on Thursday afternoon the seventh meeting of the University Council for the academic year 1443, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Council of Universities Affairs, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Al-Saleh, and the members of the Council.

The Vice president for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research - Secretary of the University Council - Dr. Hamid bin Majdoua Al-Qarni, explained that the council discussed a number of topics and took the necessary recommendations regarding them, as well as finalizing university accounts for the year 1442/1443 (2021 AD).

Al-Qarni added that one of the council most prominent recommendations, is the approval of a number of scholarships, extension of scholarships, termination of scholarships, as well as appointing a number of university employees. In addition to approving the granting of a master’s degree and a doctorate degree to a number of graduate students.

The council also approved the promotion of a number university employees to higher ranks, amending study plans for the applied college programs after it was converted to the semester system, in addition to agreeing to some service contracts.
