On behalf of His Excellency the Minister of Education, His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Al-Salami, chaired the fifth university council meeting for the academic year 1443Ah, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Council of Universities Affairs, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Al-Saleh, and council members.

University Vice President of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research - Secretary of the University Council - Dr. Hamid bin Majdoua Al-Qarni explained that the council reviewed the topics on the agenda and took the necessary decisions regarding them.

Al-Qarni added, the meeting most prominent recommendations included the approval of scholarship programs, extending scholarships, appointing new university employees and the re formation of the Council of the Deanship of Graduate Studies for a period of two years, as well as the re-formation of the editorial boards of a number of university journals, and the approval of the formation of the university’s internal audit committee and a number of other committees.
