The first day of the Second International Mathematics and its Applications Conference, included 10 scientific sessions on topics such as analysis, algebra, applied mathematics, statistics and probability.

The supervisor of the Mathematics Department at the College of Science - Female Section and a member of the scientific committee of the conference, Dr. Aisha Al-Duraimi, noted that on the first day of the conference included more than 900 attendees from 14 countries.

Al-Duraimi, added that the sessions and their discussions, have inspired many constructive theories that the department will seek to develop in the future, whether in the form of conferences and seminars or research and scientific projects.
