On behalf of His Excellency the minister of Education, His Excellency King Khalid University Prof. Falleh bin Rajallah Al Solami chaired the university second council for the academic year 1443Ah , in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Council of Universities Affairs, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Al-Saleh, and the council members.

The Vice Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research - Secretary of the University Council - Dr. Hamid bin Majdoua Al-Qarni, explained that the council reviewed the topics on the agenda and took the necessary decisions in their regard.

AL Qarni added, that among the council most prominent recommendations is the approval of 22 scholarships, the appointment of 10 professors to the position of assistant professor, the appointment of 12 teacher assistances to the position of lecturer, and the granting of master’s degrees and a doctorate degrees to a number of graduate students. In addition the council approved the regulations and tasks for the Council reviewing committee, as well as approving the academic calendar for the third semesters of the academic year 1443 for the College of Applied Programs.
