Establishing The Three Academic Transition Office and Appointing Al Qahtani to Supervise it

His Excellency King Khalid University President Prof. Falleh bin Rajallah Al Solami, recently issued a decision to establish a Three Academic Transition Office to serve the transition of the university academic department to transition from two academic semesters to three academic semesters. He excellency also issued a decision appointing Dr. Suad Muhammad Al-Qahtani as supervisor of the office.

On his part the University Vice President of Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Saad bin Muhammad bin Dajam, explained that the establishment of the office came in response to the requirements of the stage following the announcement of the approval of the transition to the new academic calendar and the three-semester system. Adding that the office is working on drawing a road map for the stages of implementing the transition process for university programs, taking into account the continuation of the educational process in an optimal manner, and facilitating the transformation process through the efficient investment in the university's human resources and facilities.

Ibn Dajam added that the office will raise a comprehensive view of all potential changes and expectations in academic curriculums including plans, programs, regulations, technical aspects, and additional issues.

It is worth noting that the office is linked administratively to the University's Academic Affairs Agency.
