University Announces Summer Semester Education Approach

King Khalid University represented by the University Academic Affairs Agency announced the start of the summer semester on the 11th of Shawal , in accordance with the university’s preventive measures in efforts to guarantee the safety of university members and students.

The University Vice President of Academic Affairs Prof. Saad bin Mohammad bin Dajam explained that the summer semester is to continue to the 3rd of Dual Hija 1442Ah, confirming that the university will implement the highest safety measures during the season, through providing remote learning using online platforms in coordination with the Deanship of E-Learning.

On the practical side, Ibn Dajam explained that practical lectures will be held in the university laboratories , while adhering to the precautionary measures and issued by the competent authorities, noting that students' attendance for practical lectures in laboratories shall not exceed (50%) in addition to continuing clinical, field and cooperative training in coordination with the training authorities, stressing on the importance of following all regulations, instructions and protocols applied by the training bodies.

The university also set a number of measures for the semesters final examinations, in addition to selecting assignments and short tests from theoretical courses that can be submitted through the e-learning system.

It’s worth noting that the university requires all members and student to download the application “Twaklna “ for campus attendance, and to take at least the first dose of the covid 19 vaccine.
