KKU - Media Center

Alumni Unit at King Khalid University, offered more than 500 training courses and workshops to more than 7000 graduates during the past five semesters. The unit also signed a pre-employment training agreement with the LandMark Group, which benefited 300 graduates.

These training courses and workshops are meant to meet the needs of the graduates who are given accredited attendance certificates to ensure they have the required skills for the job market.

Dr. Noura Hassan Zarib, Supervisor of the Alumni Association Unit, explained that the unit aims to interact more with the graduates and keep them updated with the job market developments and provide the required facilities and services for them.

Al Zarib, added that the membership is only available for King Khalid University graduates, and it offers its owner access to the following: the university electronic website, medical services, library services, Deanship of Student Affairs' services, sports clubs and training courses.

The unit was established in 1440 AH following the recommendation of the university council, to serve and qualify all university graduates.

Of note, the unit has two different divisions, one is to organize training programs, training courses, workshops and employment agreements, and the other is more about communicating and keeping up with the graduate, to guide them to relevant job opportunities and events.
