A team of students from King Khalid University participated in the preparatory workshop for Tindha Youth Center, which was held recently under the patronage of His Royal Highness the Governor of Asir Region Prince Turki bin Talal Al Saud.

The coordinator of the university students team, Dean of the Community College in Khamis Mushait, Dr. Ahmed Al Mari: stressed that the university seeks, its participations, to activate its social role in the region, pointing to the importance of activating the role of youth towards society as well. He explained that he represented the university in Tindha Youth Center with a team of 18 students from a number of university colleges, adding that the team included students with special needs from the community college at Khamis Mushait, which added value to the team.

It is worthy noting that, the participating students presented a number of proposals and recommendations that are to activate the role of the young generation and achieve development standards in the region in general and the Tindha center in particular
