Business and Knowledge Economy’s Achievements and Efforts

His Excellency the University President, Prof. Falleh bin Rajaa Allah Al-Solami, received the University Vice-President of the Business and Knowledge Economy, Prof. Abdullatif bin Ibrahim Al-Hadithi and the agency’s employees.

At the being of the meeting his Excellency the university rector received a the agency’s annual report, which included the most prominent achievement for the year 2020 , followed by a presentation that displayed the entities that follow the Business and Knowledge Economy Agency which are : the Deanship of Community Service, the Talent and Innovation Center, Corporate Governance Center, KKUX ,in addition to the Counseling Studies and Research Institution, the General Management of Investment and the General Administration of Self Resource .

The University Vice-President of Business and Knowledge Economy, Prof. Abdullatif bin Ibrahim Al-Hadithi, explained that the agency seeks to strengthen the culture of creativity and investment in knowledge to achieve community development and build a solid business foundation as well as enhancing self -finance sources that support the efforts of the private sector.

As a result to its desired goals, the agency set a strategic plan to increase the university revenues through internal sources and self financing cycles and the supervision of the entities projects and business committees. The agency also completed the preparations of its headquarters and finalized the financial support of university programs and initiatives.

It should be noted, that the agency’s established a board of directors for both the General Administration of Investment and the KKUX platform, as well as a committee for the disbursement of self-resources savings, a committee to review the preparations and approval of financial and administrative regulations. The agency also inaugurated the agency’s electronic accounting system “SMAC, and the electronic payment system “automation “ , in addition to establishing the agency’s strategic plan unit .
