The University Vice-Rectors Congratulate the Leadership After Announcing the Estimated Budget for 2021

King Khalid University Vice-Rectors extended their congratulations to His Majesty the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdualziz, and his Crown Princes, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, may Allah protect them, after announcing the estimated budget for 2021.

Saudi Arabia’s Economic Strength

The University Vice President, Prof. Mohammed bin Hamid Al Buhairi, commended how the budget shows the strength of Saudi Arabia’s economy, and its ability to face the global challenges and any short or medium-term economic fluctuations, adding that this year’s budget came in a challenging era for the global economy, where the largest economies of the world were devastated by financial crises, assuring that the kingdom’s backup plans, financial reserves and financial stability policy contributed directly in enhancing the country’s abilities, and reduced the impact of these crises on the national economy as well.

He also commended the government’s financial decisions that aim to prevent financial defect and support the development projects around the country, Asking Allah to protect our country and make this budget a source of prosperity, growth, and developments.

Diversification of Income Sources

Vice Dean of the Academic Affairs Deanship, and Vise Dean of Post Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Deanship, Prof. Saad bin Mohammed bin Dajam, expressed his thanks and appreciation to our government for their efforts in sustaining economic stability in the time of COVID19, assuring that our national economy has proved its strength and ability to face the toughest circumstances, by dealing with COVID19 and the drop of oil prices successfully.

Bin Dajam, also shed light on the success of 2030 Vision in terms of supporting major projects and diversifying the sources of non-oil income, by using the available social, traditional and cultural elements.

Stable progress

On his part, Vise Rector for Academic Development and Quality, Dr. Merzin Al-Shahrani, said that the announcement of the estimated budget for 2021 shows that the kingdom is making stable progress towards attaining more prosperity and welfare in every aspect of life, adding that this year’s budget embodies our government keenness on supporting every sector of the country, to benefit our country and its people.

Putting People First

On his part, Vice Rector for Business and Knowledge Economy, Prof. Abdullatif bin Ibrahim Aludaithi, commended our government for putting people first, by prioritizing the health and education needs, to ensure a successful future and to overcome the current circumstances.

Welfare and Development

For her part, Vice Rector of Female Students Affairs, Dr. Khalood Abu Melha, commended how the estimated budget for 2021 indicates results of fulfilling the goals of 2030 vision, and shows the government quest towards an economic prosperity that aims to attain the highest levels of welfare and development for the people of this country.

She also shed light on the government’s support for the education field and its outcomes, which will undoubtedly contribute to the growth of the country, she assures that our wise government dealt with all global challenges successfully.
