Launching the Special Needs New Headquarter

His Excellency, King Khalid University President, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Allah Al Sulami, stressed the importance of devoting efforts in providing the best services to students with disabilities.

His Excellency launched the new headquarter of Special Needs Center, on Wednesday morning, at the University City in Abha. Upon his arrival, his Excellency checked the preparations and available equipments to make sure the center is ready to help students with disabilities, and participate effectively in easing their academic experience at the university. He then thanked the staff of the center for their efforts in providing the best services to disabled students.

The Supervisor of Special Needs Center, Dr. Amer bin Ali Jaafar, welcomed His Excellency the University President, Prof. Faleh Rajaa Allah Al Sulami, and the Vice Dean of the Academic Affairs Deanship, Prof. Saad bin Mohammed Dajam, and the Dean of Students Affairs Deanship, Dr. Abdullah bin Mansour. He then thanked the university’s administration for supporting the center and its activities.

It’s worth noting, that His Excellency the University President met with a number of disabled students, to talk about their academic careers at the university and to discuss their needs and prioritize the needed facilities by coordinating with the relevant agencies in the University.
