His Excellency King Khalid University Rector Prof. Faleh bin Reja Allah Al-Solami, issued a decision to appoint Dr. Salem bin Ahmed Al-Qarni as Dean of Academic Development and Quality Deanship, in addition to his work as the Vice-Dean of the College of Engineering for Academic Development and Quality and a general supervisor of risk management at the university.

Dr. Al-Qarni expressed his thanks to the University Rector for this trust, hoping that he would contribute in the university development and progress and achieves the nation's ambition and wise leadership.

It is noteworthy that Dr. Salem Al-Qarni - in addition to his work, he worked as the Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department, and an Associate Professor at the College, and holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arkansas, USA.
