KKU Rector honored Participants in Ramadan Programming camp

His Excellency, King Khalid University Rector, Prof. Faleh bin Reja Allah Al-Solami honored the Excellent sons of the university's employees for their participanting in Ramadan programmatic camp in the python programming language.

During his speech, the University Rector praised the camp, its outputs, success and the College of Computer Science efforts within the university project "Mobaderoon", noting the importance of Computer Science fields as a key engine for the current stage, he also stressed that the university administration will continue its support for such programs for the university employees, students and society as well.

Al-Solami also thanked everyone who contributed in the establishment of this program; the College of Computer Science and all the university's entities. Prof. Al-Solami is looking forward to presenting other quality programs and initiatives in this field to serve students and society.

Furthermore, Dr. Ali bin Muhammad Al Karoui, Dean of the College of Computer Science, welcomed the University Rector, thanking him for his support and constant concern in the College and its programs, as well as his attendance and participation in this ceremony. Alkaroui asserted that the administration presented number of initiatives last summer, including Ramadan programming Camp.

Al-Karoui stated that the progrm is dedicated to the university's employees sons, for the age group between (14-18) years, in order to promote them in the programming language and discover their talents from an early age.

He also pointing out that the camp was provided and supervised by Dr. Atef Al-Mansouri, faculty member, with the participation of number of students.

The ceremony was concluded by honoring His Excellency the university Rector the participants with certificates, shields and taking photos.

Noteworthy that the College of Computer Science presented 6 programs within the university project "Mobaderoon"; in order to achieve the college goals to build a digital society with distinguished national technical expertise.
