The College of Science, Arts and Society Colleges organize a meeting in female students’ rights

The College of Science and Arts, and Society college in Rejal-Alma organize an online meeting about the female students’ rights

Deanship of Science and Arts, and Society Colleges in Rejal-Almaa, and in cooperation with the Agency for Student Affairs at King Khalid University, organized an online meeting entitled: "The Academic Introductory Meeting in Female Students’ Rights and Duties”, under the patronage of Dr. Seham Al Hayder, Dean of the Colleges and with the coordination on of Dr. Zahra Hilal, Head of the Academic Advising Unit, and in the presence of number of students.

Al Haidar says:” this meeting aims to guide and provide students with all information they need and encourage them to invest all opportunities available to them, and inform them of their rights and academic and non-academic duties, academic regulations and exams".

Dr. Siham Ahmed Khater, Vice Dean for Students Affairs, discussed some topics, most notably the rights of female students and their academic and non-academic duties, also providing counseling programs to make the students aware of the university regulations. Furthermore, providing an appropirate and academic environment for students , provide them with psychological safety , give incentives and Stipends , and make health care available within hospitals and health centers of the university, in addition to how to calculate the GPA in details, tests and its protocol, study and exam regulations at the university, also she reviwed other importatn areas such as Academic probation, the rank of honor and conditions for obtaining it, the reasons for dismissal from the university and exceptions to that, and how to postpone studying the semester, change the major, the visiting student, and the regulations for her acceptance and study.

Noteworthy that the two colleges hold this meeting within the framework of activating guidance and counseling, and to ensure that the students know their full rights and duties, which will positively affect their academic achievement and psychological stability.
