King Khalid University - Media Center
The Deanship of Admissions and Registration at King Khalid University completed student schedules after the admission of more than 12,000. Dean of Admissions and Registration, Dr. Abdulmohsen Algarni, explained that his team was eager to spread awareness among freshmen students. They were introduced to their academic and non-academic rights and duties. First-year students were also introduced to the array of electronic services available to them.
Dean Algarni confirmed that his team's role is not limited to admission and registration only; they also prepared several programs for freshmen students. He explained programs such as the "Electronic Forum" — which targets all students, including freshmen — aims to introduce the pertinent rules and regulations. The program "Academic Counseling", he noted, aims to counsel students on their academic levels, facilitate communication with academic counselors, and work on the causes of undesired levels of academic performance. Dean Algarni also spoke about the new IBAN service, which streamlines the process of receiving monetary awards.
