The General Administration for Public Relations and Media hosted the first annual meeting for male and female media coordinators. More than 30 university departments participated.

Dr. Mofleh Alqahtani welcomed the attendees and emphasized the importance of external communication with the media. He also reviewed the goals and functions of the university's media professionals, the effect on the success of institutions, and the benefits to the community.

Head of Public Relations Management, Mr. Ali Saleh Al-Demaeh, reviewed some of the plans put forth by the General Administration for Relations and Media. He detailed the goals for each of the three departments (Public Relations, Media and Communications, Media Development and Training).

Assistant General Supervisor of General Administration for Relations and Media, Noura Alamer, presented a paper on the general rules of managing social media accounts. Head of Communications Management at the General Administration for Relations and Media presented a paper about strategies for developing university media accounts.

At the end of the meeting, there was an open forum on social media.
