University Hosts Student Talent Exhibition

King Khalid University - Media Center

The University Rector hosted the opening ceremony of the "The Story of Talent" program organized by the university's Talent, Creativity and Entrepreneurship Center. This event was in conjunction with "Talent Week", "Gulf Day for Talent" and "Creativity 2020". The university's program was held over two days at Al Muftaha Village's King Fahad Cultural Center. The exhibitions showcased university student talents in the creative arts, literature and cultural awareness. The Rector praised the organizers and participants of the talent event.

Talent, Creativity and Entrepreneurship Center Director, Dr. Mohammed Al-Magrabi, explained that this event is designed to foster student skills and enthusiasm for the arts, innovation, and entrepreneurship. He also noted that exhibitions, enrichment programs, and training courses of all kinds are a primary strategic tool to enhance skills and creativity among the general population to support social and economic development. Dr. Al-Magrabi thanked the Rector for his continued support

The art exhibition featured: Photography, Islamic Calligraphy, Fashion Design, Sculpture and Crafts. There were also several art training classes in portrait painting, acrylics, and photography. Written works included poetry, short story and novels.

The event was co-sponsored by the Arab Saudi Society for Culture and Arts in Abha, the Al Shoail Group, Mustasharak Hospital and the Al-Mashaer Oasis Foundation for Tourism.
