University to train 1767 students.
The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University (KKU), represented by the Vice - Presidency of Development and Quality, has organized a number of training courses provided to university students - male and female - during the first semester of the current academic year. The purpose of such courses is to develop students' creative skills. 571 male students and 1196 female student have benefited from the provided courses. The total number of the students who benefited from the courses reached 1767 students.
On this inportant matter, the Vice Dean of Student Affairs for Development and Quality, who is also the General Supervisor of the courses, Dr. Abdullah Bin Mansour Al Edeid, pointed out that the Vice - Presidency launched its training programs at the beginning of the first semester of this academic year, and were held over six consecutive weeks, with an average of two days each week. He also clarified that the provided courses included the following headings: presentation skills, positive thinking, scientific innovation, entrepreneurship, arts of organizing events, and sound engineering. Dr. Al Edeid said, "The diversity of the content of courses aimed at the development of the capabilities, skills, and knowledge of male and female students."
Regarding the courses the Deanship intends to conduct during the next semester, Dr. Al Edeid confirmed that the Vice - Presidency has completed arranging the courses of the second semester of this academeic year. He added, "Within the headings of planned courses are problem-solving skills, psychographics, the dynamics of human achievement, and teamwork management. In details, the program of expected courses will be announced in the beginning of the second semester."
