Students of talent program at the University visit Mishkat interactive exhibition

A number of students from the 15th talent summer program, who are embraced by King Khalid University in collaboration with the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity, visited Mishkat interactive exhibition for Atomic and Renewable Energy, entitle 'Saudia Arabia in 2050'. The exhibition is taking place these days within the activities of 'Abha festival brings us together', at Al Muftaha Square. This visit is one of the field trips organized by those in charge of 15th talent summer program.

In turn, the students of the talent summer who visited the show expressed their happiness and delight by what they saw of exciting interactive exhibits for the most prominent and influential expected changes in the human life in 2050 AD. Some of these exhibits are: mobility, work, landscapes around us, and food and water.

Moreover, the visitors from the talent program stopped and contemplated at the section of mobility world like high speed trains and also at the section of excepted changes in vehicle chassis and bodies. In addition to that, they showed great interest in the robot and its role which has become a milestone in a number of areas such as industry, and others.

 In this regard, It is noteworthy that one of the most important objectives of 15th talent summer program is to develop outstanding students' capabilities to the maximum extent of their abilities, and direct these capabilities to community developmental needs and priorities. The program aims at providing an opportunity for outstanding students to discover important academic and scientific areas and at the same time to guide and to introduce them to these areas. It also plans to develop the creative and critical thinking skills of students as well as their personal and social skills. Furthermore,  the program works to expand the spirit of teamwork, initiative and achievement among distinguished students.
