University to hold a course for Media Professionals

King Khalid University, represented by the Media Center, holds a course entitled "Press Writing for News Sites". The course is presented by the Associate Professor at the University Department of Information and Communication, Dr. Jamal Alzern.

The Supervisor of the Media Center, Dr. Ali Bin Shuweil Al-Qarni clarified that, pursuant to the recommendations of the President Prof. Abdul Rahman Bin Hamad Al-Dawood, during his last meeting with the regional Media professionals, the President stressed on the importance of providing training courses to confirm the belief of the university role in community service.

In this regard, the Associate Professor at the University Department of Information and Communication, Dr. Jamal Alzern clarified that the session will discuss a number of themes such as the importance Hyperlinks in the writing of websites, how to take advantage of the sources of the public, the ethics of writing on the Internet, in addition to the axis of the transition from paper writing to electronic one and readability of Internet writing.

It is should be noted that the session will be held in two shifts, the first period from 13 to 15 of this month, while the second course will be from 20 to 22 of the same month. The venue will be the University City, Al-Jrigir, building A, entrance 8, the third floor, Hall number 86.
