The Deanship of Admissions and Registration announced on Thursday the completion of the admissions and acceptance period for the 1441 AH academic year. Dean of Admissions and Registration, Dr. Abdulmohsen Algarni, confirmed that King Khalid University, under the aegis of His Excellency Rector Al-Solamy, devoted all efforts to provide a streamlined electronic admission process from the admission application form to the issuance of university identification cards.

Dean Al-Qarni highlighted that a set of conditions stipulated by the University Council were applied during the admission period, noting that accepted applicants were statistically exceptional. This was complemented by a firm intention to match student preferences to vacant seats using proprietary software. The newly implemented software is the first of its kind in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and provided 2,000 students the opportunity to change their majors based on availability and 500 waitlisted students acceptance confirmation.
