University develops technical skills of its faculty members.

King Khalid University (KKU), represented by Development and Quality Vice - Presidency, has conducted a training course in Dubai entitled, "Use of modern technologies in university teaching." The course was with a view to the development of the participants' information and skills in the use of modern teaching techniques, and in the formation of positive trends for application in university teaching. 40 members of the teaching staff participated in the training workshop.

On the occasion, the Vice - President for Development and Quality, Dr. Ahmed Aljbaili, thanked the Rector of KKU, Prof. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Aldawood, for his continued support for all activities and events, especially those which target the development of professional and personal skills for faculty members. Dr. Aljbili said, "The University is always keen on the continuation of the Vice - Presidency's efforts to continue to train employees of the university and the development of their performance."

For his part, the Vice Dean of Academic Development and Quality, Dr. Saeed Al-Hadi, explained that the training program included a number of aspects, such as knowledge of educational design principles, practice writing a scenario for educational software, implementation of interactive educational software in the area of specialization, dealing with Google Apps, managing an account in computing cloud, in addition to creating electronic forms and tests.
