The University hosts students of GCC universities

The King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, is hosting the 26th visit of students of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) universities and higher education institutions. The expected visit is taking place from 17th to 21st of Jumada II, 1436 AH.

On his part, the Dean of Student Affairs of King Khalid University, Dr. Mera'e Al Habash explained that "this visit will be under the supervision of the Education Department of Gulf Cooperation Council secretariat. It aims to deepen the ties of brotherhood and love among young people and employees of the Higher Education, universities and institutions in the GCC countries. In addition, the visit aims at exchanging experiences in cultural development, and in scientific knowledge among the students. The visit will witness the participation of 90 students, in addition to 30 supervisors representing 30 universities from various universities in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

The Deputy Dean of Student Activities who is also the supervisor of this visit, Dr. Nasser Al Gomishan reported that the university entrusted organization to five student committees. The University always gave its students the confidence to represent the University, and to present what they look forward to, for their guests from various universities. Al Gomishan said: "An integrated program for the visit was prepared, including a tour to the following cities: Abha, Khamis, and Rejal Alma'e. The visit includes a tour to Souda Park, Al-Hablah, and the Al-Jarah, in addition to visiting the project of University City in Al-Farah, and a considerable number of other touristic attractions and heritage sites.
